Trough this app, you can connect anytime and easily configure the wall box via

Blustooth.This Privacy Policy describes how StarCharge (hereinafter referred to as "we") collect and process your personal information through our devices and

application that reference this Privacy Policy. By using services, you are consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Please read and understand this     Privacy Policy carefully before using our products or services. Our Privacy Policy

1. HOW DO WE COLLECT DATA

Our collection is limited to the APP end, and we will not store or process data in the background.

Here are the types of personal information we collect:

•         Information You Give Us

Wall box connection. After entering the app for the first time, you need to connect


 

 

 

the wall box. Installing the wall box requires you to open the Bluetooth permission of your mobile device, which is convenient for us to pair. Simultaneously pairing

requires the use of scanning function, which requires you to open camera or album permissions (if Android system, it is storage permissions).

Installation wizard. Our app distinguishes between regular customers and engineer roles. The installation wizard can only be configured for the engineer role. Enter the   engineer password to enter the installation wizard page. During the configuration

process, you are required to input the installation country, time zone, power grid type, wall box power grid line configuration, maximum current, maximum outflow current,    smart meter configuration information (optional), islanding mode configuration

information (optional), network configuration information (optional), V2G certificate, ATS configuration information (optional), etc.

General configuration. For non-first login, you can enter the general configuration page. On this page, you can configure your LED brightness configuration, network

configuration, authentication configuration, fan configuration, time zone configuration, firmware upgrade, RFID main card learning configuration, ATS configuration, etc.

Firmware upgrade. Based on the need for device software upgrade, we provide you with firmware upgrade function. You can select firmware packages, certificates, etc.   from your phone to upgrade the Bluetooth transmission of the wall box. During the

process, you need to provide your phone's photo album permission (if Android

system, it will be storage permission) to facilitate the upload of firmware packages. At the same time, on your firmware upgrade page, you can check the current device

number and current version.

•        Automatic Information

Data query. The wall box will transmit real-time device abnormal information and display it on the APP page, including the total number of faults, fault codes, fault

names, fault content, alarm time, device dimensions, real-time information, etc. You can also check the instantaneous current values of each phase of devices such as   wall boxes, smart meters, and household appliances.

Self checking guide. After completing the configuration or clicking the self-test

wizard button, the pile end self-test results can be obtained. The wall box will transmit the power connection status, phase number, overvoltage and undervoltage, backend  connection status, and connection status with the smart meter to the mobile phone

for display.

•         Information from Other Sources Does not exist.

 

2. HOW DO WE USE DATA

Although our app collects the aforementioned personal data, we do not actually use or store it.


 

 

 

3. HOW DO WE SHARE DATA

Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling our customers' personal information to others.

 

4. WHAT ABOUT COOKIES AND OTHER IDENTIFIERS We do not use cookies or other identifiers.

5. HOW DO WE ENSURE DATA SECURITY

At present, we have passed international ISO27001  ISO27701, ISO37301, TISAX industry certifications. We have implemented appropriate physical, technical, and  organizational security measures designed to secure your personal data against   accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.

6. HOW DO WE RETENTION YOUR DATA We will not store any of your personal data.

 

7. YOU RIGHTS

Due to the special nature of this app, we will not process any of your personal data in the background, so it is difficult for us to respond to your rights. We will do our best to protect your data rights. As a user, you  may have the following data protection rights, which you can exercise pursuant to applicable laws at any time by contacting us

using the contact details provided under section 11. “CONTACT US” below:

•        If we have collected and processed your personal information with your consent, then you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your

consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in   reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

•       The right to complain to a data protection authority about our collection and use of your personal information.  For more information, please contact your local data

We respond to all requests we receive from individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data  protection laws.  If you live in a     jurisdiction that provides for a right to appeal a denial of your request to exercise

If you are aware of changes or inaccuracies in your information, you should inform us of such changes so that our records may be updated or corrected.

We will not store data, let alone transfer your personal data across borders.

 

9. ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO USE SERVICES

We does not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children's products for    purchase by adults.  If you are under  18, you may use StarCharge Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal

information from children under the age of 13 without the consent of the child's parent or guardian.

 

10. UPDATES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time including in response to

changing legal, technical or business developments. When we update our Privacy

Policy, we will take appropriate measures to notify you, consistent with the

significance of the changes we make. We will obtain your consent if and when we

materially change this Privacy Policy in a way that reduces the protection of your

personal information collected in the past. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated by us posting an amended Privacy Policy on the Platform. Once

posted on the Platform, the new Privacy Policy will be effective immediately. You can see when this Privacy Notice was last updated by checking the “last updated” date     displayed at the top of this Privacy Notice.
